Stacy

Team Lead/Hiring Coordinator

Hello! My name is Stacy. I’ve been with Simply Yours Concierge since the Winter of 2024 and became Hiring Coordinator in Spring 2025.

Working for this company has honestly been a dream come true. Growing up in the Adirondack mountains I’ve always been around animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies and horses stemming back as far as I can remember. As a teenager I started taking care of my neighbors pets as a “business,” as well as my own. We have always had rescues and I’d say that left a soft spot in my heart to anyone who needs help. My goal for each visit is to take care of your pet as if it was you taking care of them as a part of your family.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family. We are always active and enjoy swimming, hiking, kayaking and running. My daughter is young and I hope to pass down my love for nature and animals to her. My favorite part of this job is how every day is different! I absolutely love meeting new pets and of course getting to know each and every one the best I can. I live an active lifestyle and having this as a job is just the icing on the cake! My hope is to give you the best possible experience and peace of mind in whatever capacity my help is needed!

TERRY

Trainer

Hi, I’m Terry and since the summer of 2021, and became Trainer in Spring 2025. I cover dog walks and pet sitting visits on weekdays. I grew up with German Shepherds and have always had them until my last one passed in 2018. Before joining the team, I always took care of of relatives and friend’s dogs when possible. At one point, I had a cat and bearded dragon lizard. I found and saved the cat from being outside and gave it a home until a better suited one was found, because I had 2 shepherds at that time! I have a passion for all animals – whether they’re domestic and/or wild!

In my spare time, I love watching my kids play sports and going to the beach. What I love about this job is I get to meet all kinds of new pets and people, along with being outside and on the move.

Hi! I’m Jill, and I started working with Simply Yours Concierge in the Spring of 2019. I’ve been loving every minute of it since! An animal lover since birth, the simple truth is I became a dog walker/pet sitter by default, without even realizing it! In addition to our Fox Terrier Snoopy, I played with all of my neighbors, friends and families cats, dogs, bunnies, mice, gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs, constantly growing up and learned all about pet behavior and personalities through a lifetime of hands on experience, despite having asthmatic allergies. I even helped out many coworkers and several bosses over the years with their pets needs, and everyone always said I have a way with animals that’s special. Being an all encompassing animal lover (I even owned a tarantula!) I never shy away from too big, too small, unfriendly, or unwell pets, and am very comfortable giving medicine and shots to them.

Thankfully I’ve been asthma/allergy free for years now and just love sticking my face in dog and cat fur with no repercussions, I just love them so much, I can’t help it! ! I treat all the pets I have the privilege of servicing as if they were my own, with love, friendship, companionship, safety, and fun as well as following any and all instructions, ensures your pet will thoroughly enjoy our time spent together! Being able to assist fellow pet owners and providing love and care for their pets in their absence, combined with spending time with their amazing animals and being outside with them is a dream come true! I have a background in art, and was in retail management before becoming an administrator in a radon lab for well over a decade, so I have serious customer service skills and apply that to all of my walks and visits. I love art, movies, going to NYC to shop and see shows, reading and traveling, but my favorite thing of all is being at home and having fun with my husband and our kooky cat Simon.

Hi! My name is Jeff and I’ve been with Simply Yours Concierge since the Winter of 2019. I look after our clients on a daily basis and build a strong bond with them throughout the walk. I am always happy when I get to meet a new dog or cat and learn their personalities and likes and dislikes. It makes me a better pet parent. I am a huge proponent of animal rescue and awareness. I grew up in a household of animals with many cats and dogs, whether they were rescues or strays. After years of being without a cat or a dog, I welcomed my first cat, Simon, into my home in 2013, and that was it. From then on, I took in 2 more cats, Rose and Jonah, and an elderly dog, Abby. Thankfully, they all get along famously. I have a full time career, in addition to working for Simply Yours Concierge, I’m a volunteer at Save Animal Shelter in Skillman, from where I adopted my cats and dog. I credit this experience for reigniting my love of animals and passion for rescue and service to those who can’t help themselves. I am very happy to be working for Simply Yours Concierge and I look forward to meeting many more dogs, cats, and others, young and old.

Hi! My name is Melanie. I joined the Simply Yours Concierge team in the Fall of 2022. I always had cats or dogs growing up, and I was raised on a farm. I had 2 pet sheep as well! Aside from being a pet owner myself, I’ve taken care of friends’ cats and dogs when they have gone away. Working for Simply Yours Concierge, I’ve had the opportunity to work with unique animals such as bunnies, rodents, birds, and some fish! In my spare time: I enjoy traveling, hiking, ice skating, and spending time with family and friends. One thing I enjoy about this job is the variety of animals I get to take care of and being able to walk dogs in each of the seasons.

Hi, I’m Tess! I joined the Simply Yours Concierge team in February of 2022. My pet care experience is having my own dogs and cats, in addition to many pet sitting gigs I did when I was younger for family and friends. During my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends or family. What I love most about this job is meeting all the different dogs/cats for our clients.

Hi, I’m Tori! I joined the Simply Yours Concierge team in the spring of 2022. I grew up with cats, dogs and lots of fish! I currently have a rabbit named Simon who’s too smart for his own good. In my free time I enjoy reading and going to concerts.

What I love about this job, is that it has given me the chance to play with cats and dogs for a living- childhood dream come true! It’s also enabled me to get outside and enjoy our beautiful part of the state.

Hi, I’m Marcia. I joined the Simply Yours Concierge team in the spring of 2022. After 21.5 years as a Johnson & Johnson employee, I decided to retire early in order to take care of myself and my family, especially my two sons with their High School and Middle School educations during the two year global pandemic. As the world began to re-normalize after COVID, I decided it was time to enter the workforce on a slightly different career path. I had my first dog visit with Simply Yours Concierge in May of 2022.

While in college, I began to informally pet sit dogs and cats for family members and friends while they were out of town. My first dog was a blonde golden retriever, Rubix. Now I have a reddish brown golden retriever, Yogi Bear. I trained him to become a certified therapy dog / emotional support animal so that I can share his love with others. We’ve conducted visits at Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell and Rider University. In my spare time, I enjoy doing therapy visits with Yogi Bear, traveling with my family, capturing memories through photography, and coaching youth Wrestling. What I love most about this job is a flexible schedule, being outdoors, and unlimited kisses, wags, purs, meows from all my four legged friends.

Hi, my name is Lisa and I’ve been working with Simply Yours Concierge since the Fall of 2022. With me is one of my regular clients, Qori, a Shih Tzu and Poodle mix. I have been helping to take care of Qori since he’s been a baby at 2 months. I usually do dog walks/pet sitting during the weekdays. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats in the home, and add some turtles and a dragon along the way as well. Currently, there are a total of 6 dogs scattered among my family and I love to help take care of them when needed. We love our fur babies!! In my past experience, I have also done a lot of pet-sitting and overnight stays, helping friends and family when away on vacations.

What I enjoy and love about this job are the client animals I meet. They are so loving and sweet, you always get such a warm and excited greeting from them! And the tail wags say it all – they are so happy to see you and get their belly/chest rubs and butt scratches before going for their walk. The best part is getting to know their personalities. Everyone is different and that is what makes the job interesting and, most of all, a lot of fun. Also, this job is great exercise (the main reason I joined in the first place)!! It helps to keep the legs strong.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, especially the young children. I also enjoy taking the occasional road trip. I love to watch classic movies and listen to music of all genres. But most of all, I look forward to seeing my furry clients during the weekdays because they always put me in a great mood!!!

Hi, I’m Bev and I started working with Simply Yours Concierge in February 2022. I grew up with cats, then had 2 boxers from 1993-2007. The three of us traveled the world together. We lived in Mexico and Turkey when I was a teacher. Now I have children and my daughter is allergic to many animals, so I love my walking friends instead of having any pets of my own. During my free time I travel or at least plan the next journey. I love live jazz and I’m learning how to sew. I really love being the special friend of the dogs I walk. I feel like their fairy godmother and I really enjoy how happy they are to see me. It’s mutual!!

Hi, I’m Chrissy and I joined Simply Yours Concierge in the Spring of 2024. My very first pet was a hamster named Snowball when I was 6 years old. I’ve always lived with a dog or cat in my life and as I grew older, my love for animals grew. I have rescue experience with older dogs who needed homes. I currently have a rescue dog named Sophie and a cat named Norman that I rescued. Sophie had been tossed from home to home for the first 6 years of her life and when I rescued her she was so full of fear and anxiety but somehow we bonded instantly.
In my spare time, I love arts and crafts. Currently I’m making resin jewelry and diamond art. I also enjoy taking Sophie on long walks and studying dog training.
I love most about this job that I meet new pets and give them love and attention when their owners are away. I love and care about each pet as if they were my own. My goal is to have every pet be happy and healthy.

Hi, I’m Trish, and I joined the Simply Yours Concierge team in the summer of 2024. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters and fish and currently have 2 pups and 2 cats who all are rescues. I love animals! I have always helped family and friends with their pets and I stop on my walks to meet others’ pets, so this was an easy fit to combine love of animals and love to take walks. Since joining, I have had the opportunity to make new 4 legged friends, even a turtle, as well as their families. In my spare time I spend time with my grown boys, my fur babies and my friends. I love walks, the shore and boardwalk all year long, live bands and concerts, movies and adventures and day trips. What I love about this job is the fur babies I’ve met and their owners and it truly is a highlight to my day seeing how excited they are to see me and the bond created.

Hi there, I’m Katia and I joined Simply Yours Concierge in the fall of 2024. So far, it has been great! Growing up I had a Yorkshire Terrier who was the absolute joy of my life, and we also eventually got 2 cats when I was a little older. Many of my family members have consistently had dogs and cats, even a guinea pig, and I’ve always cared for animals whether they were my own or for my family and friends. Now, I have 2 little Biewer Terriers and 2 gerbils, so it is safe to say I treat every kind of animal with the love and respect that it deserves. Besides taking the responsibility of caring for my family’s dogs, I love seeing all of them get together and have playdates.

In my free time, I enjoy being outside, drawing or painting, and I also have a growing photography hobby where I mainly focus on nature landscapes and of course, my dogs. I also enjoy going to thrift and antique stores, and finding little unique trinkets to add to my living space.

Something I love about this job is gaining the client’s trust in that I will care for their pet(s) as if they are my own. I love seeing the dogs’ faces light up when they know they are about to go on a fun walk or play outside with their toys. I especially like how I get to regularly see certain animals every week, and forming a bond and a trust with them is very rewarding. I love caring for all animals no matter how big or small, and each visit brings me its own unique kind of joy.
